The Best Wireless Mouse For Travel: Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse

The new year marks the new age of tech reviews here on Poplar Travels. We are currently reviewing dozens of travel technology products so that we can help guide you through the vast ocean of techcessories. For the past few months I have been testing the Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse in various travel situations with my MacBook Pro. Here are the results:

The Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse is exactly as the name describes. Ultra thin and sleek, at first glance it resembles a space age ouija planchette rather than a traditional mouse. The touch surface is smooth and silky to the touch. The sides are brushed metal and all the necessary buttons and ports are tucked away on the bottom in a minimalist manner.

The mouse is quick to charge and comes with a small micro usb to usb cord that charges the mouse directly from your computer. The mouse is surprisingly easy to set up via your MacBook’s bluetooth and connects instantly when powered up. The Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse delivers a satisfying click and is easy to maneuver on almost any surface. The touch surface is surprisingly sensitive and accurate. It allows me to control my MacBook Pro with gestures and works well while using Photoshop and Illustrator.

The Ultrathin Touch Mouse is smaller than Apple’s Magic Mouse and the built in long life rechargeable battery eliminates the hassle of changing out batteries.

The mouse is tiny and does not offer full support to your palm so there might be some hand fatigue after long periods of use. However, if you are looking for a ultra-lightweight mouse to throw in your pocket or bag for travel, the Logitech Ultrathin Touch Mouse is worthy to be considered.

Nice pics and good info! I just picked mine up. You should review portable hard drives. 🙂
