Inateck Ultra-slim Universal Bluetooth Keyboard Review

“Techcessories’ are becoming ever more important in today’s culture. These techcessories allow us to use our devices more efficiently and in many different work situations. The Poplar Travels team recently received one of the newest portable bluetooth keyboards from Inateck for review.

Within just a few minutes of opening the Inateck Ultra-slim Universal Bluetooth Keyboard, I had it connected to my iPad via bluetooth and I was ready to start typing. Once it’s hooked up it works seamlessly in any app and is especially useful for word processing. The full size keyboard layout made typing in Google Docs an easy task across my devices.

The typing on this keyboard is much more convenient than the touch screen keyboard on ipads and other tablets, and during testing my typing speed increased at least two fold.

The keyboard features a rechargeable battery that will allow up to 60 hours of use or 100 days of standby.

I thought it would be inconvenient that the keyboard does not attach directly to my iPad but the large layout and comfortable angle make it easy to type on whichever device I decide to bring with me for the day. This keyboard would be especially great for typing quickly on devices with small screens such as an iPad mini or even your iPhone.

The only cons I could find with this keyboard are that the down arrow won’t work in most applications and the enter key won’t send in iMessage. However this is most likely an iOS limitation.

Overall this keyboard would be good for travel where you need to use your iPad or iPhone as a makeshift laptop and its slim design makes it easy to throw in your backpack.
