Why The Jackery Giant Portable Charger Belongs In Your Travel Bag

The first time we went on a long trip overseas, we quickly realized that some of the most important needs of a travel blogger are a connection to the internet and a consistent source of power to charge all our devices. Usually we have the internet situation figured out, but it is always hard to plan how you will charge your devices in the field. Jackery Giant to the rescue!

When we travel we always take two iPhones, an iPad with Zagg Keyboard, and a GoPro that need to be charged via USB. Sometimes we’ll be out on a mountain or in a forest for hours with no access to an outlet. We are constantly using all our devices for photos, social media, GPS, you name it, so we always run our batteries down very quickly. Outlets in airports can be hard to find and nobody wants to run our of battery power on a 14 hour flight.

Before our big move to Thailand, I decided we needed to pick up an external battery pack that could charge all of our devices and survive drops and heavy use without being bulky or heavy. This was a difficult bill to fit and after quite a bit of research I decided to give the Jackery Giant+ a try.

Jackery Giant3

It has now been over 5 months since I received my Jackery Giant+ and after many drops, scrapes, partial submerges and heavy use, I have decided that it is not only the perfect external battery for travel, but a beast of a techcessory. It can charge our two iPhones from low battery to around 80%, charge our iPad halfway and still have enough juice to keep our GoPro going for the entire day. The Jackery Giant+ has earned its place in the Poplar Travels travel bag.
