Lunch at Table by Rang Mahal: Naumi Hotel Singapore

On the last day of our exciting visit, we were invited to lunch at Table by Rang Mahal at Naumi Hotel Singapore for an authentic Indian gastronomy experience with a modern flair. Our lunch was one of the best meals we had in Singapore and will not be soon forgotten.

Table is a contemporary styled restaurant located on the first floor of Naumi Luxury Boutique Hotel. Naumi offers unique luxury rooms with clever designs, including Coco Chanel and Andy Warhol themed suites. The entire Naumi experience is designed to be personal and homey where the friendly staff are always willing to take the next step to ensure your comfort. We took a quick tour of the hotel before our lunch and were impressed by Naumi’s panoramic rooftop infinity pool and intricately detailed building designs.

The restaurant offers a table d’hôte menu for a small taste of a few dishes or a la carte entrees and appetizers. We asked the server for recommendations and were pleased when he suggested half a dozen dishes to share family style. We started with Bombay Pani Puri which was just as fun to eat as it was delicious, followed by a variety of curries, garlic naan and delicious kulzza, an Indian-style pizza.

We were stuffed by the end of the meal, but the dessert menu was just too good to pass up. The signature popsicle made with raspberry, coconut and chia seeds was a fun gourmet take on a basic treat served in a martini glass with chocolate dipping sauce. We also tried the traditional Indian dessert, Gulab Jamun, which consists of warm dumplings soaked in a sweet sauce. This was an incredibly rich treat and we recommend sharing it to avoid sugar overload.

The entire lunch experience was perfect and left us energized for our busy afternoon meetings and activities. When we make our next visit to Singapore we will definitely have to try out the full Naumi Hotel experience.
