Philip Parker Navy Sydney Watch Review
Philip Parker Watches is a Swedish watch company specializing in high quality slim watches under the influence of clean Scandinavian design. All their watches feature premium Swiss movement and come in a variety of case tones and strap colors. The Philip Parker Navy Sydney I tested has a red white and blue nato strap with a silver plated stainless steel case.
The Watch arrived in a sleek black padded box. The first thing I noticed when I tried it on was how thin the watch case was. The case is a slim 6mm and feels solid in the hand. The nato style strap fits comfortably, is easily adjustable and its minimal weight causes me to forget that it is even there. The flashy silver case and silver white face create a subtle elegant appearance that complements the brightly colored straps.
I decided to leave my Rolex behind and felt comfortable showing off the Philip Parker Sydney in some of the world’s finest hotels where the common wristwatch seemed to be a Breitling or Audemars Piguet.
Philip Parker Watches designed the Navy Sydney watch for tough conditions so I felt like I had to put it to the test. I have whacked the watch on numerous occasions and there is still not a single scratch on the sapphire crystal.
I wore the stylish watch in a variety of adventure situations and environments with ease. The watch was comfortable in the heat of Hoi An and the brisk air of Halong Bay. From high in the sky to under the ocean waters, the Philip Parker Sydney Navy Watch performed well.
I received countless compliments while touring through five countries in the past month and I can confidently give the Sydney Navy a permanent place in my watch collection. The high precision Swiss Quartz Movement, classy design, affordable price tag, and sturdy construction make the Navy Sydney a great watch for travel whether for business or leisure, luxury or adventure.
